The Finale of the ‘Sequentia’ Series and the Dawn of a New Artistic Chapter

Greetings, art enthusiasts and friends,

As the seasons change and time moves forward, so does the evolution of art. It’s with a mix of sentiment and excitement that I announce the culmination of the ‘Sequentia’ series, a collection that has been close to my heart and has resonated with so many of you.

As seasons change, so does the art that adorns the walls of Nidum, located in Grave, The Netherlands. It is with a hint of nostalgia that we announce the departure of the mesmerizing “Sequentia” series. But every end marks a new beginning. I am set to introduce a new collection that promises to be as enthralling and vibrant as ever.

Join us in this transition, celebrating the legacy of “Sequentia” and welcoming the fresh artworks at Nidum, the Netherlands’ premier destination for art, design, and inspiration.

Nidum, which is Latin for “Nest,” is a high-end experience center located in the monumental Arsenal building in Grave. It serves as an “inspirational nest” for interior, design, and art enthusiasts. The space was designed as a birthplace of inspiration catering to those who appreciate sophisticated interiors and exhibits a blend of essential living, modern-day lifestyle, and culinary enjoyment offerings

The longstanding collaboration with Nidum: House of Inspiration and the wonderful Lonneke van der Weyden has been nothing short of magical. The ‘Sequentia’ series, born out of our shared vision and creativity, sought to capture the essence of nests, birds, and the intricacies of connection. The artworks, inspired by nests and the concept of home, reflected our shared journey and the enduring bond of friendship and professional collaboration.

But as one chapter closes, another begins.

On September 1st, I’ll be unveiling a brand-new collection of paintings at Nidum: House of Inspiration. This collection promises to intrigue, inspire, and invigorate your senses, much like ‘Sequentia’ did, but in a fresh and novel way. As always, my works aim to transport you to a realm where fashion, art, and emotions intertwine, presenting a visual feast that tells a story and ignites passion.

For those who have followed my journey and supported my endeavors, I have a special treat for you. I invite you to join me on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 at Nidum for a unique meet and greet session. This is more than just an opportunity to chat and delve into the stories behind my paintings. It’s a chance for me to express my gratitude in person.

Location: Sint Elisabethstraat 35, 5361 HJ Grave.

And to make this day even more memorable, I will be signing free limited edition prints exclusively at Nidum. It’s a token of appreciation, a piece of art for you to take home, and a memento of our shared love for art.

To all my supporters, new and old, I’m humbled by the love you’ve shown the ‘Sequentia’ series. Let’s celebrate its success and welcome the new collection with open arms and open hearts.

Here’s to the end of a beautiful series and the beginning of an exciting new artistic journey. See you at Nidum!

With gratitude and artistic passion,

Wendy Buiter.
