She’s taking out all the nonessential elements of her work, working towards what her art is all about: we don’t have to know what a painting is if we know how it makes us feel.

Wendy is taking out all the nonessential elements of her work and working toward what her art is all about: Statements of contemporary beauty. Eventually, Wendy wants the work to be the most minimalistic that her portraits can be.

Wendy is currently indulged in her journey into abstraction, not only will she have to rethink her creative process step by step, but she’ll also have to go through a series of physical challenges that come with a voyage like hers. There’s more to art than just placing a brush on canvas. There’s getting into the right state of mind!

The moment Wendy decided to take this step, Wendy could feel her adrenaline rushing, eager to work on a new series. With an eye-catching, contemporary series of artworks, Wendy felt her creative spark explode into action. Initially, the direction was unclear, but soon she found herself moving towards a minimalist approach from thereon out.
