I’m thrilled to share with you the ins and outs of my artistic journey, the evolution of my work, and my path as an artist. This has been both a personal and professional quest, marked by continuous learning, experimentation, and a deep passion for expressing the muse within.

The Genesis of My Art

My journey began with traditional oil painting on canvas. Like many artists, I was drawn to the depth and vibrancy that oil paints offered. I chose linen canvases for their superior quality, but over time, I encountered the limitations of working with such materials—extended drying times, the smell of oil paints, and the difficulty of managing large canvases.

Despite these challenges, I produced some nice works using oils, each reflecting a phase of experimentation and discovery. However, I felt a growing need for change. The slow drying times and the cumbersome nature of large canvases hindered my creative flow. This led me to a pivotal moment in my artistic journey: embracing simplicity and speed through sketching on A4 paper with pencils. From there on I continued working on the A3 paper. Eventually, after a long search, I found the right size of artist paper in B1-size, which is 70×100 centimeters, in which I create most of my original artworks today.

A Digital Archive

Digitizing my artwork opened new avenues for reproduction, allowing me to capture every detail of my work with precision—down to the smallest dust particle.

Scanning my original works at a professional studio ensures that I maintain a high-resolution digital archive of everything I create. This not only preserves the details and colors with unmatched fidelity but also allows me to reproduce my art in various forms, including limited edition canvases that I personally embellish, making each piece uniquely mine.

The Practicalities of Art Presentation and Storage

One of the most significant changes in my practice was rethinking how I store and present my work. Transitioning from piles of canvases to using a clothing rack for storage and display was a game-changer. It not only professionalized my studio space but also made it easier to manage and show my work to visitors and potential buyers.

My digital archiving process is equally meticulous. Each piece is carefully documented and stored in both cloud services and local backups. This ensures that every artwork, its story, and its details are preserved and can be shared with the world.

Limited Editions: A Bridge Between Originality and Accessibility

One of the most exciting aspects of my current work is creating limited-edition canvases. These are not mere reproductions; each is a new creation, as I hand-paint over the printed canvas, adding layers, textures, and colors that make each piece unique. Limited to just five pieces per artwork, these editions offer art lovers a piece of my vision, accessible yet exclusive.

This process, from digital enhancement to the final touches of paint, is a labor of love and creativity. It embodies my commitment to quality, uniqueness, and the personal touch that connects each piece to its new owner. Every limited edition comes with a certificate of authenticity, ensuring its value and originality.

Connecting With the World

Beyond the canvas and digital screens, I cherish the connection I have with my audience and fellow art enthusiasts. Sharing my journey, the evolution of my work, and the insights I’ve gathered along the way is more than just an exercise in storytelling. It’s an invitation to explore the depths of creativity, to understand the soul behind the art, and to perhaps find a bit of your own inspiration in the process.

Your feedback, ideas, and engagement fuel my creativity and push me to explore new horizons. I eagerly await your thoughts on this journey, suggestions for future projects, or any questions you might have about my work and process.

Looking Ahead

As I continue on this artistic voyage, the landscape of my creativity keeps expanding. Every step is a discovery, every piece a new chapter in a never-ending story of growth and expression.
