The Wendy Buiter Art Collector’s Club invites you to collect Original Masterpieces, and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) of Wendy’s art. These pieces depict women with glamour, elegance, and mystique, and are available as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. NFTs are unique digital tokens that use smart contracts to control the transfer of digital currency. They are minted onto the blockchain and cannot be modified or amended.
To set up your own cryptocurrency wallet, we recommend using MetaMask, a software wallet that allows users to access their Ethereum wallet through a browser extension or mobile app.
If you are already a Wendy Buiter Art Collector, you can get the NFT of your original artwork for free by contacting us and setting up a MetaMask wallet. We want to give you the opportunity to own the NFT version of your original piece as a way of thanking you for investing in the physical artwork. However, please note that NFTs may not always be available and we encourage you to act quickly to obtain yours.

What exactly is an NFT?
An NFT is a non-fungible token based on blockchain technology. Because it is non-fungible, it is not interchangeable. It is entirely unique. This is in contrast to a dollar bill or a bitcoin, both of which are interchangeable with other bills or bitcoins. An NFT is composed of software code in the form of “smart contracts.” Smart contracts are open-sourced blockchain protocols that control the transfer of digital currency under certain terms and conditions. Once a smart contract is created, it is “minted” onto the token on a blockchain. This is permanent. Once the NFT is created, it cannot be modified or amended.
