This summer has been incredibly productive for me. Ideas are flowing, and I’ve been creating a lot of new work. I’m enjoying the luxury of dedicating so much time to my art because the warm weather allows me to fully relax. With the doors open, I’m savoring the joy of working and painting in this open, airy environment.

I’ve created many new pieces, and I invite you to take a look at my 2024 collection page—there’s already quite a bit to explore. Among these new works, I’ve developed a new series focusing solely on eyes amidst flowers. This exploration of the gaze framed by abstracted florals is something I’m keen to develop further.

In addition to painting, I’m also exploring the possibility of working with ceramics. Just before the pandemic, I had started taking classes with a potter and was excited to get started. However, after only two sessions, everything had to close due to the lockdown, and I haven’t had the chance to pick it up again since. But now, being in a wonderful creative flow and bursting with ideas, I’m exploring the potential of working with ceramics again.

So, keep an eye on my Instagram stories—you might see some exciting things pop up soon. In the meantime, take a moment to check out these new works. I’m particularly thrilled about my ongoing exploration of florals in my series “The Eyes Between the Flowers.” Each piece delves into the emotions and stories that can be conveyed through the gaze, surrounded by the beauty and complexity of flowers.

Stay tuned for more updates and creative endeavors!

Love,

Wendy
