Rare Early Works from the Artist’s Archive
Before the large-scale masterpieces and established collections, there were these works. Created between 2014 and 2016, the Small Originals reveal the earliest foundations of Wendy Buiter’s artistic universe. These intimate pieces capture the beginning of a visual language that would later evolve into her distinctive world of feminine iconography, layered portraiture, fashion influences, and emotional storytelling.
Rather than being created with commercial intention or fixed expectations, these works emerged through instinct, experimentation, and artistic curiosity.
