Licensing & Image Rights
Wendy Buiter is the creator and copyright owner of all original artworks. She offers carefully selected brands and companies the opportunity to use her art in commercial applications through license agreements. A license is an official permission to reproduce an artwork for a specific purpose, within clearly defined terms such as print run, duration, product type and territory. The use of Wendy Buiter’s artwork on commercial products is only permitted with a signed license agreement. Any use without permission constitutes a copyright infringement.
What Is a License?
A license is a legal authorization to use an existing artwork without transferring ownership. Through a licensing agreement, Wendy Buiter grants third parties, such as fashion houses, interior brands or beauty labels, the right to reproduce her work for:
-
Product packaging (perfume, skincare, cosmetics, etc.)
-
Fashion and lifestyle products (scarves, accessories, handbags, textiles)
-
Interior applications (wallpapers, fabrics, cushions, home objects)
-
Editorial or branding campaigns (books, magazines, digital media)
Each license is individually assessed and tailored to the brand, product scope, distribution and usage duration.
