The 2026 Atelier Canvases
The Atelier Canvases are made-to-order works, hand-finished in Wendy’s studio and framed in black wood. They are not reproductions. They are a deliberate extension of my original paintings, created for collectors who wish to enter my world at scale, without compromising integrity. Each canvas is produced individually, allowing time, attention and restraint. Available in three curated sizes. Each size carries its own presence, proportion and intention.

Every acquisition begins with a conversation.
For Collectors & Connoisseurs
Acquiring a work of art is never a simple transaction, it is the beginning of a relationship. Wendy Buiter’s practice thrives on what the contemporary art market values most: singularity, provenance, trust and the human exchange that surrounds every acquisition.
While her editions and accessories are available online, original paintings are placed only through direct consultation. This preserves the integrity of each piece and allows collectors to understand its context, materials, and significance before it enters their private collection.
“Art lives through conversations, the stories, and the quiet moment when you know it belongs in your world.” – Wendy Buiter
Each original work is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity and a letter for the collector. This scarcity is what turns an acquisition into a future heirloom. Collectors are invited to schedule private viewings in the studio or virtual appointments to discuss availability, framing, shipping and the ideal placement of a work in their home or project.
In this way, acquiring a Wendy Buiter artwork remains personal, discreet and guided, the way serious collecting has always been.
