Creating art you can wear — that was my vision.

When I began designing my first jewelry collection, I knew it had to reflect everything I value as an artist: strength, elegance, and timelessness. The result? Seven distinct pieces — five earrings and two bracelets — that carry not only aesthetic beauty, but also a piece of my personal history.

At the heart of this collection lies my logo — a symbol I hold dear. At first glance, it resembles a crown. But look closer and you’ll see it’s a letter W and B, forming a regal silhouette. It was designed by Margré Meijer, a colleague from my years as a flight attendant with Martinair. Margré had a graphic design studio on the side, and she created my logo over a decade ago — a design so thoughtful, so geometric, so me, that it has stayed with me ever since. I even wrote about it in my book.

The bold, Art Deco-inspired lines of the logo became my blueprint. I wanted my jewelry to be wearable extensions of this visual language — sculptural yet refined, expressive yet subtle. That’s why every earring and bracelet in this collection bears the logo, almost like a quiet signature.

My design process was deeply intuitive. I spent months collecting references, exploring proportions, testing silhouettes — always searching for that perfect balance: elegant, distinctive, and comfortable enough for daily wear.

Pieces that feel luxurious, but never loud. That whisper confidence, rather than shout for attention.

To bring the designs to life, I began sketching by hand, refining ideas until they felt just right. I then worked with a team of 3D designers to turn these sketches into detailed digital models. After a round of sampling and a few precise adjustments, the collection came together, and I couldn’t be prouder of the final result.

The materials I chose reflect my belief in beauty that lasts: stainless steel and brass, both finished with a generous layer of 18K gold. For the sparkle, I selected cubic zirconia — not only for its brilliance and clarity, but also because it’s an ethical alternative to traditional diamonds. Durable. Elegant. Responsible.

I searched long and hard for the right production partner. While I explored options in Europe, I ultimately found a trusted manufacturer in Asia — where the technical expertise and craftsmanship aligned perfectly with my vision.

These pieces are for the women who live fully — who move between meetings and dinners, who dress with intention, and who want their jewelry to elevate rather than distract. She loves comfort, but not compromise. She notices detail. She is smart, social, stylish, and always in motion.

And this is just the beginning. My dream is to expand the collection with rings, more bracelets, and perhaps even brooches in the future.

Because art doesn’t belong only on walls — it belongs with you, wherever life takes you.

With love,

Wendy
