For those of you who’ve followed my journey, you know that I’ve always seen art as more than something to hang on the wall. My work is about presence, feeling, expression, it’s about becoming who you are.

I’m Wendy Buiter: visual artist, jewelry designer, and founder of a growing world in which elegance, feminine strength, and soulful beauty are central. I create for women who are both powerful and soft. Women who love refinement, depth, storytelling, and who want to surround themselves with things that speak to the soul.

Over the past years, I’ve sold hundreds of limited edition prints and original paintings. Each piece a celebration of individuality. And in recent years, I’ve taken the next step by designing my own jewelry collection, created in close collaboration with expert manufacturers, and worn by women who see jewelry as an extension of their inner world.

But now, I’m expanding again.

A new chapter

I’ve just introduced a new category to my brand: fashion, accessories, home décor and stationery, all created through a made-on-demand model (which includes both print-on-demand and cut-and-sew-on-demand). That means:
– No mass production
– No waste
– Each item is crafted especially when it’s ordered

It’s a sustainable way of creating, and also deeply personal. I choose this model so I can experiment with new forms and styles, while staying true to what matters most: quality, beauty, and meaning.

Some pieces are printed. Others are entirely stitched and assembled from scratch. All of them carry my artistic DNA, and all of them are designed to bring more art into everyday life.

Why I do this

To me, this expansion feels like a level-up. A new energy. It brings me joy to imagine my artworks not only on walls or in gold metal, but now also flowing across fabrics, carried on shoulders, written on pages, or wrapped around a wrist.

I believe in a world where women surround themselves with beautiful things, not because they need them, but because it makes them feel more themselves. And art has the power to do that. It lifts. It mirrors. It transforms.

That’s why I’m building this. Slowly, thoughtfully. A lifestyle brand rooted in art, with a timeless elegance that grows from the inside out.

What’s next

The first made-on-demand pieces are already available on my website wendybuiter.shop and there’s more to come.
And yes, I have big dreams. I’d love to one day create beauty products too, skin oils, perhaps, or scented body serums, inspired by the softness and strength of my muses. But for now, I start here: one piece at a time.
